Rude Girls go bottom of the class
GIRLS ALOUD got back at critics at a cheeky gig where they dressed as naughty schoolgirls and shook their bums at fans.
NICOLA ROBERTS had “I Am A Rude Ginger Bitch...Botherd” scrawled on her rear to get back at BUSTED’s MATT JAY, who said she was a stroppy diva.
NADINE COYLE and CHERYL TWEEDY flashed their pants at clubbers while KIMBERLEY WALSH proved she is a big star in a pair of blue tights.
Cheryl and SARAH HARDING stuck their tongues out before playing at G.A.Y. in London’s Astoria club on Saturday. The girls sang new single No Good Advice during the set. One fan said: “They didn’t seem to care what they showed off.”

Not Aloud to moan!
GIRLS ALOUD have a blunt message for stars who say they can't cope with life in pop's fast lane - stop moaning.
Derry-born singer Nadine said: "It's not easy getting up on stage to entertain an audience but we don't see the point in moaning about it. If you want to be a singer, you know what to expect."

The winners of ITV's Pop Stars: The Rivals will launch their debut album in Scotland this month. It includes their singles Sound Of The Underground and No Good Advice.
Girls Aloud are the stars of Box Live at the SECC, Glasgow, on May 26, where they'll be joined by Darius, Abs, Triple A and Lemonescent.

Drunken Aloud
If you thought Girls Aloud were a bunch of squeaky clean young ladies, think again! The little misses have revealed that when they appeared on GMTV recently, they were all a bit squiffy.

"We knew we had to be up a 4am for the show," Nicola explained to Sneak magazine, "but we didn't go to bed all night - we just stayed up drinking."

And what happened when they joined GMTV's Kate Garraway and Andrew Castle on the comfy sofa? "We couldn't stop giggling on the TV show," Cheryl added, "I think we were still drunk!"

But if you're wondering which of the girls is the naughtiest of the lot, you don't have to look any further than the band's very own Ginger Devil, Nicola. "She'd be the one most likely to get up to something," Kimberley admitted. "She's definitely a bit mischievous." Cheryl, who a bit of a scamp herself, says she thinks her flame-haired bandmate is even wickeder than her. "Nicola's madder than me, she's a bad influence."

And what does Nicola have to say about this? "I always come up with the ideas and Cheryl goes along with it, but I never ever get the blame. That's what I was like at school, too. I can wriggle myself out of things."

Girls Aloud's new single No Good Advice is out next week and their album, Sound Of The Underground follows on May 26th.

Aloud blast from the past
Aloud blast from the past

IT looks like Eighties leg warmers, roller discos and plastic jewellery will be back in this year — at least if GIRLS ALOUD have anything to do with it.

I’ve got their debut album here and it has taken me back to the decade fashion forgot.

That’s not to say it’s bad — far from it. The album, which shares the name of their debut single, Sound Of The Underground, is 14 tracks of pure electro pop.

Imagine a cross between BLONDIE and BANANARAMA, with a smattering of the SPICE GIRLS at their best thrown in, and you get the idea.

Lots of synths and electro beats are this record’s trademark. Stand out tracks are the down tempo White Lies, big disco-sounding Girls Allowed and Stop.

The great track Some Kind Of Miracle should definitely be a single.

The girls make a passing nod to their loser rivals ONE TRUE VOICE with a ballad called Forever And A Night — but they show the boys how to do it properly.

This disc won’t change your life. But as a pure pop album it’s cool, sophisticated and edgy enough for any music collection.

Swearing is not ALOUD

Leggy lovelies ... Girls Aloud in latest photoshoot

GIRLS ALOUD have been forced to re-record their new single – because it features rude words.

NICOLA ROBERTS, KIMBERLEY WALSH, NADINE COYLE, CHERYL TWEEDY and SARAH HARDING have cut the words "damn" and "sh*t" from No Good Advice after radio stations said they wouldn't play it.

The five winners of ITV1's Popstars: The Rivals, are seen above showing off their amazing legs in a new shot to promote the track.

No Good Advice is the follow-up to their debut No1, Sound Of The Underground, and tells how the girls rebel against strict parents.

We all know rock 'n' roll is wild and rebellious but using rhe word "damn", can you believe it?
